Workshop Announcement – 2012

Welcome to the Soybean root rot annual workshop. It will be held September 23-25, 2012 at Kemp Natural Resources Station in Woodruff, WI. The workshop is open to anyone interested in root rots. Click here for more background information.

Food and lodging during the workshop will be covered for all attendees. Travel and subsistence to and from the workshop will not be covered except for 8 travel fellowships. Deadline to apply for travel fellowships is Aug 27, 2012.

Please register so that we can ensure adequate lodging and food and coordinate travel logistics.

Travel Fellowship Deadline

Just a reminder that travel fellowship applications are due today (Sept 15)! Applications received after today may be reviewed if funds are available.

For those planning travel, the closest airport is Wausau/Stevens Point (CWA). Other airports include Madison, WI and the Twin Cities.

Workshop Announcement – 2011

Welcome to the Soybean root rot annual workshop. This workshop is intended to bring together stakeholders (including industry reps), soybean pathologists, oomycete molecular biologists, and extension personnel in an informal setting. It reinstates an annual meeting held 6 times during the 1990’s. It will be held October 29-31 to facilitate attendance by field-oriented researchers at Kemp Natural Resources Station in Woodruff, WI.
